Louisiana Saltwater Fishing
Louisiana offers great fishing for salt and coastal water species including cobia, red and black
drum, flounder, mackerel, sea trout and striped mullet. Fishing for migratory species like the Blue and White
Marlin as well as Sailfish is the norm in these coastal waters. Three types of tuna inhabit the area including Big
Eye, Blue Fin and Yellow. Sword fish are also caught off the coast.

Many reef fish such as grouper, red snapper, triggerfish, and sea bass also await the angler. Many

Fly fishing for many of the these coastal species in the inlets and bays can be accomplished if you
