Virginia Bay Fishing Regulations

One of the easiest ways to get started in Bay Fishing is at the pier or bridge fishing. You need a stout rod and heavy reel with heavy line so get don't fish it with anything week. In this photo you can get an idea of what this is like. It may look like havoc but it's rather a pleasant experience and a great amount of fun for everyone.

The tidal areas of the bay also are great place to fish including with a fly rod. Fish move quite a bit in these tidal areas depending upon conditons, time of day, moon phase etc. so it pays to do your homework and get a knowledge base and gain some experience.
